We expect our agents to complete 8-10 appointments per week from the lead sources provided. This activity is derived from a constant source of qualified direct-mail response leads and our extensive customer base. These are “pre-set” appointments with existing customers. Alliance America has an excellent proprietary contact management system to assist you in tracking your customers and your activity.
We offer a variety of lead sources to our agents at no cost to them. There is a full array of senior products and services to meet the needs of our customers at competitive rates. We also offer extensive training on insurance concepts with an emphasis on needs-based selling through online training courses, weekly webinars and annual training conferences. Our back office stands ready to assist you with illustration support, business processing, presentation materials and sales ideas. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Expenses are minimal.
Although you will find that leads are sometimes in your back yard, more often than not, they’re somewhere within a 0-100 mile radius of your home. That means we’re looking for “road warriors”.
Agents are required to have an active health and life insurance license, be in good standing with state insurance department and be able to be contracted with Alliance America carriers. A notary appointment in your home state is helpful and may be required in some states. Holding contracts outside those provided by Alliance America is prohibited, as this is a career position. Agents are also required to carry Errors and Omissions Insurance for professional liability. Additionally, successful agents use technology to their advantage. A computer and cell phone are a must to be successful.
Our economy has just gone through two of the harshest downturns since the Great Depression and our customers cannot afford the losses that many have experienced in the stock market. To adequately address these customer concerns, agents of Alliance America are also expected to be Investment Advisors Representatives (Series 65). Newly contracted agents are highly required to obtain their Series 65 registration within 120 days of contracting with Alliance America. Much of the cost for study materials and testing are reimbursed after you pass the Series 65 Examination. Financial and insurance opportunities will be restricted without the authority to provide investment advice.
